Louise Lane

Lousie LaneLouise is a Native American specifically Navajo of the Navajo tribe. She was born in Red Lake, Arizona which is commonly known as Tonalea, Arizona in 1959. Her primary language is Navajo and speaks very limited English. She likes to tell stories through her drawings and enjoys recollecting past times with her parents in Red Lake. Her drawings often incorporate the Hogan, water barrels, chopping wood and butchering, which is the lifestyle of everyday life on the Navajo reservation. She also enjoys weaving and working with beads.
